WINNERS for 2013

Debbie Malone

Australian Psychic of the Year 2013
Debbie Malone

Sydney-based Debbie Malone is an acclaimed and highly respected psychic, clairvoyant, psychometry expert and spirit medium. Debbie also specialises in paranormal spirit photography. Debbie Malone’s schedule includes print, television and radio interviews, private readings and workshops on how to attune to the spirit world. Her television appearances have included Today Tonight, Sensing Murder, Sunrise and The One.

In her book Never Alone - A Medium's Journey, Debbie takes her readers on the roller-coaster journey from receiving confirmation of her capabilities after a miscarriage at age twenty-eight and an extraordinary number of near-death experiences, to filming with ghosts for the highly-successful TV show Scream Test. She also writes about working with the police on high-profile cases such as the backpacker murders in Belanglo State Forest.

Her extraordinary gift has enabled Debbie to receive visions from the living and the dead, from the past, present and the future, and to convey messages to bereaved families from their departed loved ones. This gift has enabled her to see beyond the here and now and she draws strength from using the world of spirit to help both others and herself know that we are never alone.

Amanda Hall

2013 Hall of Fame Award - Amanda Hall
Amanda is a clairvoyant, astrologer and teacher. Her psychic journey commenced very early and she read about many different modalities. With the encouragement of fellow clairvoyant, astrologer Marc De Pascale who has now passed over, and her deceased husband Peter Hall, she furthered her abilities learning tarot and astrology.

In the early 1980s, Amanda designed a tarot course for the general public and introduced tarot studies to TAFE colleges in Queensland in the 1990s. Amanda quickly went on to create extra classes for eager students there, as well as correspondence courses. The teaching work progressed and Amanda later designed the best-selling Simply Tarot set that uses a step-by-step approach to tarot reading.

Amanda has taught a variety of other psychic subjects and lectured extensively around Australia. She has appeared on television, radio and continues to write for magazines and newspapers. She attends psychic festivals and events across Australia. Amanda's natural ability and direct reading style is a winner with the public, who have loved her work for over thirty years.

2013 Hall of Fame Award - Kawena
Kawena is eighty-four years young and going stronger than ever. Until middle-age Kawena was an everyday wife and mother. She had absolutely no idea about meditation, spiritual beliefs, clairvoyance or healing modalities. She was spiritually naive. Of course, there wasn't much information in those days.

Then one day a gypsy offered to teach her how to read tea-leaves and purely for fun Kawena accepted. Even Kawena was amazed at how it all worked out. She was hooked and read for years. Then one night while watching TV she saw movement at her left. It was a shock having her first angel sighting.

From then on the tea-leaves took a back seat and in came the Angel Oracle Cards, meditation classes and any other workshop involving spiritual awareness. Her psychic abilities went from strength to strength.

Kawena fully embraced and loved the journey.

Now her greatest passion is tutoring others in her private courses. She encourages her students to be passionate, highly energised, and fully motivated so as they can manifest and follow their own amazing dreams. Kawena also loves being a professional speaker sharing her experience, wisdom and enthusiasm for life. Her favourite saying is "It's never too late to shine your light. If I can do it anyone can."
